As Associate IT Sourcing Lead in Corporate Procurement, you will lead sourcing projects within the IT category, with focus on SaaS, licensing, cloud and AI.

What you’ll bring

You are an experienced sourcing professional who is comfortable in senior discussions, structures complexity quickly and brings others with you. You will have:

A Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in IT sourcing or IT procurement. Deep IT category expertise with a proven track record of leading complex RFPs, tenders and negotiations across SaaS, licensing, cloud and AI. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to align procurement activities with strategic goals. The ability to bring data from multiple sources together into clear insights and recommendations. A change- and learning mindset on how new technologies and AI can improve and accelerate sourcing and negotiation processes to enable greater business value Strong project management, communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, engage senior stakeholders and build trust-based relationships.

Experience working with IT sourcing in the life sciences industry.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Director of Digital Solutions, you will join Corporate Procurement and lead complex IT sourcing projects in close collaboration with line of business.

Your main responsibilities will be: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex and global tenders aligned with business objectives. Perform detailed bid evaluations, conduct market research and manage comprehensive reporting and documentation. Build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and perform spend mapping to optimise procurement decisions. Independently negotiate high-complexity contracts and participate in cross-functional projects. Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for complex and cross-regional business needs. Mentor and develop less experienced colleagues and act as a sparring partner on other projects.

Corporate Procurement is a global strategic function with an ambitious cost, innovation and value agenda. We manage Novo’s indirect spend, supplier base and global Source-to-Pay processes and systems, with teams in Bagsværd, Bangalore and Boston and category and sourcing managers across the globe. We bridge business priorities with market opportunities and supplier capabilities, using market intelligence, AI and automation to move faster, make better decisions and deliver greater enterprise value. You will partner with colleagues across Corporate Procurement and senior stakeholders in Enterprise IT, People & Organisation, Legal, Finance and other business areas, as well as regional procurement colleagues and senior executives at strategic suppliers. You will be part of the Digital Solutions team and collaborate with 10 highly motivated and experienced IT category and sourcing professionals, all working to drive IT category excellence globally.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000.00 to 956,900.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
