Adv. Utilities Professional
Novo Nordisk
Your impact begins here As BMS Supporter (Adv. Utilities Professional), you will plan and deliver the facility and utility projects that keep our aseptic filling factory in Bagsværd moving forward. You will drive changes to BMS/FMS, from automation and control systems to alarm set-up, and see them through to implementation. With major equipment optimisations ahead, you will help shape the future setup of your area and support the reliable production of insulin, GLP-1 and weight-reducing products for people around the world.
What you’ll bring You have a technical mindset, enjoy working with improvements and thrive where priorities shift. To be considered, you have: A relevant technical background, for example a degree in mechanical engineering or similar. Strong Danish and English skills, as we work in an international environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organisation. A proactive, ambitious approach and the flexibility to work during the two annual production stops, which usually fall in July/August and December/January.
Useful, but not essential Experience with validation of systems. Experience with BMS/FMS. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
What you’ll do You will turn technical changes into safe, well-documented improvements in a production environment that cannot stand still. In practice, you will: Plan and execute projects with a focus on BMS/FMS changes, such as automation, control systems and alarm set-up. Prepare validation documentation for your projects. Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors, so everyone knows what is happening and when. Supervise the implementation phase of projects during the factory production stops, twice a year. Contribute to equipment optimisations and changes in the coming years, helping shape the future setup of your area.
Who you’ll work with You will be part of Drug Product Manufacturing at Site Bagsværd (DPM BA), an aseptic filling factory with approximately 900 employees producing marketed insulin, GLP-1 and weight-reducing products for the benefit of patients worldwide. Within Global Manufacturing & Supply, you will join the Facility/Utility Projects team, which maintains and delivers project implementation within WFI, clean steam, compressed air and ventilation (HVAC), as well as improvements and refurbishments of the production facility. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, skilled workers and stakeholders across the organisation, as well as external contractors. Your manager will be Ehab El-sayed.
What you can expect here You will work in an engaging environment where you can build your skills alongside experienced colleagues and see the result of your work on the factory floor. With equipment optimisations and changes ahead, you will have room to contribute your ideas, take ownership of your projects and grow with the area as it develops. You will be supported to perform at your best, and trusted to speak up when things stall and to follow decisions through. The production stops call for increased flexibility, and the work rewards people who stay clear on priorities and act with urgency.
