The Impact You'll Make

Help create long-term economic and societal value for Sønderborg and Southern Denmark. As Project Director, Real Estate & Investments at the Bitten & Mads Clausen Foundation, you will play a key role in developing real estate projects and investments from initial idea through decision-making to realization.

You will work at the intersection of real estate, investments, financing, and project development, where your insights and recommendations will help shape strategic decisions. You will also represent the Foundation in trusted partnerships with investors, advisors, public authorities, executive teams, and boards.

Based on-site in Sønderborg, you will join a small, professional team with short decision paths and a shared focus on the Foundation’s long-term ambitions, including supporting Danfoss and contributing to employment and positive development in Southern Denmark.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead real estate and investment projects from initial concept and business case through execution, turning attractive opportunities into long-term value.

Develop business cases and investment proposals, including cash flow, return, risk, and scenario analyses, to provide a strong basis for management and board decisions.

Evaluate investments and financing opportunities, including due diligence, valuation, CAPEX, and sensitivity analyses, enabling sound commercial and financial decisions.

Monitor project and portfolio performance through budgets, investments, and relevant key metrics, identifying opportunities and risks at an early stage.

Create momentum across stakeholders by building strong relationships and coordinating effectively with investors, advisors, public authorities, and other external partners.

What We're Looking For

Experience within real estate, investments, finance, or project development, combined with strong commercial understanding.

Strong financial and analytical capabilities, with experience in areas such as business cases, cash flow, returns, risk, and financial scenarios.

The ability to turn complex topics into clear recommendations and provide a strong foundation for decision-making.

The ability to move complex projects forward and deliver results through strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

High integrity, good business judgment, and a natural ability to build trust, enabling you to represent the Foundation professionally and credibly with investors, advisors, executives, and boards.

You do not need to be a specialist in every area. What matters most is your ability to connect investments, finance, real estate, and project execution, together with the curiosity and motivation to keep developing your expertise. Danish language skills are required.
