Adv Utilities Supporter

Novo Nordisk

As Adv Utilities Professional, you will keep the utility systems in building DF running reliably, so production can run with minimal stops. You will own the daily operation, maintenance and development of these systems, and make sure the building and utilities meet GMP requirements, including in audits and authority inspections. Your work supports a stable, compliant production environment, so medicines can reach people living with serious chronic diseases.

What you’ll bring You combine technical depth with a structured way of working, and you can turn complex technical and regulatory content into clear, usable documentation.

An engineering degree or a similar technical education. Other academic backgrounds are relevant if you can show strong skills in technical or regulatory documentation. Hands-on experience with HVAC, cooling, heating, steam, compressed air or vacuum systems, and with BMS, FMS and CTS systems. Experience with documentation, quality, validation or technical support in a GMP-regulated setting. Strong written communication: you are precise, correct and professional, and you structure and review documents, so they are easy to use in practice. Working knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001 as they apply to daily tasks, and knowledge of CE marking. Good collaboration skills in a broad network of stakeholders. Experience with structured problem solving such as KATA and A3, or with water systems, calibration, room qualification and validation.

What you’ll do You will be the process responsible for the operation and maintenance of the utility systems in building DF and the PS Warehouse, and the person colleagues turn to when something needs to be fixed, documented or decided.

Operate, maintain and optimise utility systems such as HVAC, cooling, heating, steam, compressed air and vacuum, including technical upkeep that keeps unplanned stops to a minimum. Make the most of our FMS, CTS and BMS systems for monitoring buildings and room conditions and keep developing how they are used. Keep the building and utilities GMP-compliant, from validation and risk assessments to non-conformances, change requests and quality indicators. Write, update and review SOPs, service cards, maintenance instructions, machine documentation and validation documents in clear, precise language, and train colleagues in practice. Present your own area in audits and authority inspections, and handle urgent utility issues, escalating when needed. Drive and support structured problem solving, improvement work and projects such as rebuilds and new purchases, and plan and prioritise your own tasks.

Who you’ll work with You will join the Facility Management team within Global Manufacturing & Supply, where colleagues work across the value chain to keep production running for the people who need our medicines. You will work closely with your team and with technicians, production departments and technical partners in building DF and the PS Warehouse, a site with a large network of stakeholders. Externally, you will collaborate with facility management providers, the energy supplier in Kalundborg, the Hallas Park landowners’ association and Kalundborg Fire and Rescue Service, as well as other suppliers and Novo Nordisk colleagues. You will agree priorities for the building and shared utilities with production areas, and move between daily operations and cross-organisational coordination. The work is based in Denmark.

What you can expect here You will work in a complex, GMP-regulated environment where your expertise is valued and your voice is heard. Strong written and technical skills matter here, and the role offers room to build the rest: you will be supported with on-the-job learning, relevant training and close collaboration with experienced colleagues. You are trusted to take ownership, and you will be part of a team that acts with clarity, speed and care for quality.
